Research Description
Dr. Guo has research interests in both pure methodology development to address basic mathematical and biostatistical problems; in solving problems related to genetic studies, especially for complex diseases; and data analysis of genetic epidemiologic studies of common, genetically complex diseases, with an emphasis on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. She leads statistical analysis (ranged from linkage analysis, genome-wide association analysis, whole exome sequencing analysis, whole genome sequencing analysis, expression data analysis, methylation data analysis, metabolomics data analysis, …) for genetic studies of hypertension, diabetes, diabetic retinopathy, insulin resistance, adiposity and anthropometry, EKG traits and hemostatic factors, cardiovascular diseases, and gene and lifestyle interactions.Theme Groups
