Dr. Dauphine has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer. Her research interest includes studying cancer care disparities with the goal of informing and improving the care of cancer patients in underserved under-resourced environments.
Biography
Christine Dauphine, MD, FACS is a general surgeon with a primary focus in breast surgery and is a member of the teaching faculty at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. She received her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed her surgical residency at Harbor-UCLA. She is a Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and serves as Vice Chair of Outpatient Clinical Operations for the Department of Surgery at Harbor-UCLA. Dr. Dauphine has over 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications focusing predominantly on breast cancer and health care disparities in breast cancer care.
