Dr. Yee currently conducts clinical research studies and trials on chronic respiratory conditions including COPD, Asthma, and interstitial lung diseases. His research interests include evaluating patterns of care for chronic lung disease in under resourced populations and the identification of early spirometric markers of COPD.

Biography

Dr. Nathan Yee is an Investigator at the Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington and his Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship at UCLA.

He is currently the Director of Ambulatory Pulmonary Services at Harbor-UCLA Medical center and a member of the L.A. County Department of Health Services Pulmonary working group. He is currently active in multiple clinical and academic roles and has been recognized for his efforts with medical education at Harbor-UCLA with the Kouichi R. Tanaka Distinguished Teaching Award from the Department of Medicine.

Dr. Yee remains committed to advancing respiratory research with a focus on engaging and including historically underrepresented populations from safety-net communities.
