Research
Jessica A. Keeley, MD, FACS is an experienced surgeon with experience in Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency General Surgery. She has a longstanding interest in Health Outcomes and care of the traumatic injured patient. In addition, Dr. Keeley’s research explores outcomes following traumatic brain injury and extremity vascular trauma. Her recent focus includes management of acute biliary disease, specifically gallstone pancreatitis and perforated cholecystitis.
Biography
Dr. Jessica A. Keeley is a Health Sciences Assistant Professor of Surgery in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She practices as a Trauma Surgeon, Surgical Intensivist, and Acute Care Surgeon at Harbor-UCLA. Dr. Keeley is a graduate of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed her General Surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA. She then completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center/Keck School of Medicine. After joining the faculty at UCSF-East Bay as a Trauma Surgeon, she was recruited back to Harbor-UCLA and has been a member of the faculty since 2019.
