Vitamin A and D's effect on Multiple Sclerosis; Cerebral Edema Associated with Stroke

Research Description

Dr. Mehta's Labs have 3 main areas of study:

1. Multiple Sclerosis: How nutritional factors such as vitamin D and Vitamin A and associated proteins effect the microbiome of Multiple Sclerosis and effect the disease.
2. Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease: What factors influence cerebral aneurysm progression and how to prevent aneurysmal rupture using non-interventional techniques such as drugs targeting MMP-9
3. Neuroimaging: Use of new MRI based techniques to study disease severity and progression
