Research Description

Dr. Samuel Wayne Yu finished his radiology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and is currently pursuing his fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at UCI Medical Center. During his time at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, he developed a prototype for a device that enables precise angle measurement guidance for use in CT-guided procedures in radiology. He is currently working on improving the design and ergonomics of this device. He also plans to perform clinical studies demonstrating the improvements in accuracy and efficiency and reduction in radiation dose that can be achieved in radiology procedures utilizing this device.
